1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Timepass Apps, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, which publishes apps under the brand Super Apps for India ("we", "us", "our"). They apply to all our mobile apps and this website (the "Services"). By downloading, installing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and does not need a physical or digital signature.

2. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Services under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. You must be legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law.

3. Your licence to use our apps

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded from.

You must not: copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the apps; scrape or bulk-extract data from them; remove our names, logos or notices; interfere with ads, security or other users; or use the Services for anything unlawful.

4. Your content and shared features

Some features let you add content — for example, a display name and family dates in a Family Circle, or your name on a greeting card. You keep ownership of your content. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to operate the feature for you and the people you share it with.

You are responsible for what you add. Do not add content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringes anyone's rights, or that you do not have permission to share. Only invite people you know to a Family Circle. We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these Terms or the law, and we will act on valid takedown requests as required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

5. Calendar, panchangam and other information

Calendar dates, Tamil dates, panchangam timings (such as Nalla Neram, Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam, Kuligai, thithi and nakshatram), festival and muhurtham dates, holiday lists and rasi palan are calculated or compiled from standard astronomical methods and published sources. Different traditions (such as Vakya and Thirukanitha) and different locations can give different results.

This information is provided for general, cultural and informational purposes only. It is not religious, astrological, legal, financial or medical advice. For weddings, ceremonies, travel or any important decision, please confirm with a qualified priest, astrologer, temple or the relevant authority. Government and bank holiday lists can change; please check official notifications.

6. Location and photo stamps

Location, address and time stamps in GPS Camera come from your phone's GPS, network and clock, and can be inaccurate. They are a convenience, not a certified record. Do not rely on them as legal proof unless the person receiving them accepts them.

7. Ads, rewards and paid features

Some apps are free because they show ads. Ads are provided by third parties such as Google AdMob, and we are not responsible for the products or services advertised. Rewards (such as an ad-free period for inviting family) are a goodwill offer: they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be changed or ended. We may remove rewards obtained by fake installs, automation or abuse.

If we offer paid features in future, they will be sold through the app store's billing system, and the store's payment and refund terms will apply in addition to these Terms.

8. Notifications

With your permission, apps may send reminders and occasional updates about festivals or new features. You can turn them off in the app or in your device settings at any time.

9. Our intellectual property

The apps, website, designs, illustrations, text, data compilations, names and logos — including "Super Apps for India", "Timepass Apps" and "Nalla Naal" — belong to Timepass Apps or its licensors and are protected by law. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners. Greeting cards and daily cards may be shared for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Third-party services

The Services rely on third-party services such as Google Play, Firebase, AdMob, WhatsApp and your device's operating system. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

11. No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that information in them is complete or accurate. We may change, suspend or stop any app or feature at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Timepass Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on dates, timings or location information in the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for them in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Timepass Apps for any loss or claim arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your misuse of the Services.

14. Ending use

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the app, and you can ask us to delete your data (see Delete your data). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the law. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) continue after termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. Subject to that, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Services after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
